Thank you to everyone who kindly offered to join the NL writing staff. I had around 100 offers, which was both lovely and time-consuming. I’m in the process of writing to those who I’ll be asking to join. I’m afraid, given the (unexpected) number of offers, I won’t be able to write to anyone that I’m going to turn down. Suffice to say that I’m exceptionally grateful for all your generous offers. It’s very touching to know that so many people want to help take this project forward.

I’ve also now got control of the site and paid the relevant fees, so the site shouldn’t vanish again.

All being well, I’d hope to have the new writing team set up for 1 Oct 2026.
