Noted for their rigour

29/04/2008

With grateful thanks to JacquiG at Bloody Relations. I couldn’t resist, what with this apparently being exam season for the wannabe lawyers and all..

Giles Peaker is a solicitor and partner in the Housing and Public Law team at Anthony Gold Solicitors in South London. You can find him on Linkedin and on Twitter. Known as NL round these parts.

Bugger. Following my recent and ABSOLUTE failure to correctly read and appreciate the core points of your most recent posts NL, I believe I will quietly take myself off Down the local Mine.
    Fancy a Lump of Coal?!?!

[EL Wisty voice] Coal, that lumpy black stuff. Easily distinguishable from anthracite or such similar substitutes by its weight and heft. And the fumes..

And Minx, I fear you are to be outside of my field of instruction.

Ahhhh – who can say whether I will fall outside the remit of your speciality?! After all ,you may need me should there one day be some perilous affair of International Law with which will have a truly DEVASATATING effect on a small row of Council Owned Houses in a quiet corner of Dungeness… :)

Minx, in the event of a major international law impact on social housing in coastal Kent, you will probably be the first person I would call…
