Centre 70

Housing Caseworker

Centre 70 is a successful Legal and Counselling and Wellbeing centre, established in 1970. We offer a range of specialist advice, counselling and wellbeing support to people in Lambeth and surrounding areas at our centre and at outreach locations. We have specialist Debt, Housing and Benefits projects.

We are looking for an experienced Housing Caseworker to provide housing advice under Legal Aid and inter party work. The work will be varied and rewarding. An ideal role for an aspiring solicitor or barrister looking to develop their experience and skills in litigation.  More details in the application pack.  We encourage flexible working including working from home, compressed hours, flexible work hours. We strive to have good working conditions and where colleagues are valued and that is reflected in the high level of staff retention and those that have returned to work at C70.

Salary Range: £ 37000-42000 pa depending on experience

Pension

Hours: 35 hr pw. Possibility to job share or work part time.

Overtime: Taken as time off in Lieu (TOIL).

Holidays: 28 days per annum excluding bank holidays (plus additional special days between Christmas and New Year and Friday before the August bank holiday). 1 additional day for every complete year of service up to a maximum of 33 days per annum.
