Money well spent?

By J
12/08/2010

The DCLG has published a breakdown of the expenditure of the sums expended by it – and various other bodies (HCA, TSA, Leasehold Advisory Service) from April 6, 2009 – April 5, 2010. It’s all downloadable (as Excel files) from the DCLG website, here. Of course, without more information, it’s impossible to know if this was all value for money but I do confess to being rather surprised at some of the names – and amounts – on the list.

J is a barrister. He considers housing law to be the single greatest kind of law known to humankind and finds it very odd that so few people share this view.
