It speaks…

28/04/2007

I have just had the great pleasure of doing a podcast with Charon QC, talking about mature entry to the law, the LPC and recruitment, and legal aid. I also made a faltering attempt to explain the tolerated tresspasser issue. The podcast is now up on his blog.

I enjoyed myself thoroughly. Your mileage may vary (although Charon is superb as ever).

Have just listened to your podcast with Charon – very enjoyable. I agree about the application forms not being aimed at non-conventional entrants to the legal profession from the perspective of the Bar too. Your attempt at explaining the tolerated trespasser rule was far from faltering – I understood it perfectly! Congrats on having been ‘Charoned’! L2B

Thanks. Not quite as fluent as yours, but hey, I’m a solicitor. I used to know exactly how much talk could be fitted into 15 mins or so, but I’m out of practice.

By the way, your comments keep ending up in my spam trap. I have no idea why. Sorry.

Your computer probably just recognises that the content of my comments is likely to be drivel and indiscriminately relegates me to the “spam” compartment! What a clever computer you have…

Certainly not that, but I do have to keep editing out references to chemical enhancers and bargain stocks from your comments…
