Community Law Partnership

The Community Law Partnership is a legal aid practice specialising in housing and public law. We are ranked in band 1 in Chambers and Partners Directory and have taken several cases to the Court of Appeal and Supreme Court. We do not act for or advise landlords.  We provide the HLPAS service at Birmingham County Court which is the largest in the country.  We are a friendly team based in central Birmingham. We currently have the following vacancies:

Paralegal in the Housing Team. Salary range £24,570 – £27,314

Shelter Cymru

Title:  Independent Housing Adviser

Location: Wrexham​

Salary: £28,356 per annum

Contract: Contract until March 2026 – (with potential extension to March 2027)

Hours: 35 hours per week

Job Introduction:

Shelter Cymru is working in partnership with and funded by Flintshire County Council (FCC), to provide an independent homelessness and housing advice service.  During the Covid-19 pandemic, the Welsh Government made funding available to enable local authorities across Wales to ensure that no-one had to sleep rough during this unprecedented public health emergency. This led to up to 900 people being accommodated in temporary accommodation in Wales.

The purpose of the independent adviser post is to provide a direct casework service to clients referred by the Council, as well as advice and guidance to the housing options team, and other relevant officers employed by the Council, with the aim of increasing both applicant satisfaction and sustainable housing outcomes for people in Flintshire.
