Social welfare paralegals – TV Edwards LLP – East and South-West London
TV Edwards LLP are looking for paralegals to support our community care, Court of Protection (welfare), public law and housing solicitors based in our Whitechapel and Clapham Junction offices. Our paralegals play a key role in our team dealing with new client enquiries; assisting with casework advice and litigation; and carrying out some administrative tasks. The majority of our work is funded by legal aid.

Housing/Social Welfare Solicitor
35 Hours per week
Salary range: £32,000 – £34,000 (pay review pending)
Merseyside Law Centre was established in 2017 and delivers specialist social welfare legal advice and assistance via drop-in surgeries, outreach, telephone and email to service users and frontline advice agencies across the Liverpool City Region. We do all levels of specialist casework including court representation and judicial review. We are committed to Access to Justice.
The need for our services has never been greater and we are increasing our capacity to meet increased demand. We are looking for a Housing/Social Welfare solicitor to add to our current legal team. This is an exciting opportunity to join our growing Law Centre.
The successful applicant will have at least 3 years post qualification experience delivering housing advice under a legal aid contract.
We have a hybrid working policy and staff can work partly from home and partly office based in Liverpool.
