Our housing caseworker is responsible for providing high quality advice, assistance and representation to users of the Law Centre in the field of housing law.
The successful candidate will:
• Have experience and expert knowledge of housing law and casework including representation in the County Court.
• Be client focused with a results orientated approach and a commitment to our corporate vision.

ABBOTTS MARTIN – Housing Vacancy
We are looking to recruit a full-time Housing fee earner/solicitor to join our legal aid practice to undertake a wide range of casework including defending possession proceedings, counterclaims, and homelessness appeals.
We require a self-motivated individual with excellent communication and written skills. You will be highly organised, able to manage a varied workload and work well under pressure.
Sound knowledge of legal aid funding is required and must have an ability to manage a substantial caseload and achieve billing targets.
Salary according to experience.
LAA supervisor status an advantage and working from home arrangements in place.

Housing Caseworker
– with a view to offering a Training Contract
The Post-holder will offer housing law (residential landlord and tenant) advice and representation to clients under a Legal Aid Agency contract. The post-holder may also be required to provide support in relation to housing law on other contracts.
Salary: £28,672 (Plus 5% contribution to pension scheme)
Hours: 37 per week
Holidays: 25 days plus 8 bank holidays plus 3 additional days
Location: Main base Bradford Manor Row Office
