Housing / Community Care Solicitor/Caseworker Position
This is a unique opportunity to work with clients who have been the worse effected by the coronavirus pandemic by ensuring they have access to justice to prevent unnecessary and unlawful evictions and homelessness through your housing and/or community care law experience. It is a full time post – 35 hours per week for one year but possibly extended dependent on funding.
Location: Wandsworth (Remote/Home working)
Annual Salary: £29,000 to £33,136 depending on experience
Terms and conditions include a 37 hour week, 30 days holiday plus 8 statutory days, and 6% pension contribution

This is an exciting opportunity to join our legal team as a Public Law and/or Housing Solicitor and contribute to the development of our work securing support and safe and appropriate accommodation for survivors of trafficking. This is a fantastic role, offering the opportunity to work on emerging issues affecting victims of trafficking, with enormous potential for strategic litigation and effecting change for this hugely vulnerable group.
We are looking for candidates who are intelligent, resilient, exceptional communicators and passionate about ATLEU’s mission and values. We welcome applications from candidates with different levels of experience. You should have a minimum of two years’ experience of public law / housing law casework and we are also keen to receive applications from more experienced candidates who are able to meet Legal Aid Agency requirements for either a Public Law or Housing Law Supervisor, or will be able to soon after appointment.
