Job Vacancy with ATLEU’s Legal Team – Housing Lawyer (London or Sheffield)

Anti Trafficking and Labour Exploitation Unit (ATLEU) is recruiting! We have a vacancy for a Housing Lawyer (Supervisor) within ATLEU’s award-winning Legal Team, located in either London or Sheffield. Join the team that is consistently at the forefront of this vital and fast moving area of law.

Housing Lawyer (Supervisor)

£35,640 (London incl. 8% London weighting) or £33,000 (Sheffield), full time or pro-rata (part-time or flexible working also considered)

We are looking for a candidate to lead ATLEU’s Housing and public law work. The role involves providing legal advice and representation to survivors of trafficking and slavery and other vulnerable clients under a Legal Aid contract.

Candidates should have a minimum of three years’ experience of housing law casework, including litigation, and should be able to fulfil 2018 Legal Aid Agency Standard Civil Contract criteria to be a Legal Aid Agency Housing Supervisor on commencement of post.

Experience of working with highly vulnerable clients with complex needs, specifically victims of trafficking and slavery is desirable but not essential.
