Social Justice Lawyers wanted!
1 x Senior Housing Solicitor (LAA Housing Casework Supervisors) up to £42,000 per annum depending on experience
1 x Housing Solicitor/caseworker – up to £32,000 per annum depending on experience
Greenwich Housing Rights (GHR) is highly respected, providing specialist legal advice and representation to our local community and surrounding boroughs.
We are social justice lawyers, fighting for the housing rights of over 3000 local people every year, through:
• casework funded by Legal Aid Agency contracts in Greenwich and Bromley
• running the Housing Possession Court Duty Scheme in Bromley and Woolwich County Courts
• advising and helping beyond the confines of the Legal Aid Contract on all areas of housing and to all incomes, through funding from the Royal Borough of Greenwich.
We are looking to expand the specialist help and representation provided to clients and want to recruit lawyers with experience of fighting for clients in the full range of housing work, to include defending possession proceedings, homelessness and disrepair.
Both posts are 35 hours per week and we will consider flexible working. We offer 30 days leave per annum and pay 8% pension contribution.
Our new colleague will be expected to manage primarily a legal aid caseload, carry out their own administration, meet billing targets and contribute toward the team.
You can download the recruitment pack from our website at www.grhr.co.uk If you have any problems downloading the pack, or would like to discuss the roles before you apply please contact Pamela Robotham at email@example.com
Closing date for applications: 10 am Wednesday the 28 May 2019. Interviews: week beginning the 3rd June 2019
