The successful candidate will have a good knowledge of community care and/or housing law and have experience in these areas of law.
We require a self-motivated individual with excellent communication and written skills. You will be highly organised, able to manage a varied workload and work well under pressure. Patience and tact are necessary as you will be assisting vulnerable people whose welfare is our priority.
A sound knowledge of legal aid funding relating to these areas of law is required.

Lawstop, a dynamic new law practice, is seeking a top calibre law student, graduate, or individual with relevant experience to work full-time at our Hammersmith or Brighton offices, starting as soon as possible after interview.
The position will involve conducting initial client interviews and recording their instructions, advising clients, communicating with external bodies, time recording, and general administrative duties.
We require a self-motivated individual with excellent spoken and written communication skills, the ability to quickly absorb legal information and to conduct legal research. You will have very good organisational and time management skills and be able to produce documents to tight deadlines. Patience and tact are necessary as you will be assisting vulnerable people with housing and community care issues.
This long-term position would be ideal for a person seeking experience in the public law field. Knowledge of legal aid is desirable but not essential.
