Housing Caseworker

We are an independent Legal Charity based in Chesterfield, with services throughout Derbyshire and beyond.  A position has become available for a specialist housing caseworker with experience in homelessness, defending possession proceedings, and disrepair.  Ideally you should have a background in court advocacy and running a caseload under a Legal Aid Agency contract with minimum supervision.

You will have the opportunity to work for an innovative not-for-profit organisation and have a high degree of autonomy. You will be joining a strong, flexible organisation, committed to social justice and delivering high quality legal services.

Salary range: £26,398 to £30,153 pro rata
Dependant upon on experience

31 days’ annual leave pro rata (plus 12 additional days) and flexible working arrangements

This is a 21 hour post, with the possibility of increasing to 35 hours dependent on further funding.
