The Role: Principal Managing Solicitor
Salary: £33,500 per annum
Hours: Full time 40 hours per week
Leave: 248 hours per annum

This is an exciting opportunity for a Principal Managing Solicitor with relevant experience to join the team in Bradford/York.
Foundation is a registered charity delivering housing support and complementary services to meet the needs of vulnerable and disadvantaged individuals and families and those at risk of social exclusion across the north of England. The organisation currently has an income of around £13m, with plans for further development.
The post holder has line management responsibility for casework undertaken by solicitors and case workers / paralegals employed by Foundation. The post holder will carry a workload mainly consisting of Legal Aid certificated cases; will work with existing solicitors to provide a seamless service from legal help advice though to court representation; and judicial review through to appeals where necessary.
The post holder will work with the Legal Aid Agency (LAA) caseworkers and Paralegals to ensure the high quality of referrals to the solicitors from Legal Help casework and Housing Possession Court Duty Schemes.
This role will involve regular travel throughout North and West Yorkshire and some national travel.

Greenwich Housing Rights (‘GHR’) is one of the leading providers of social welfare legal advice in South East London. We are seeking a Strategic Director to continue the exciting and challenging process of transforming our services, external relations, income streams and infrastructure. The Strategic Director will be a dynamic and experienced leader with a sound understanding of managing staff and services through a period of change, developing partnerships, business and financial planning and implementing quality systems. He or she will have a strong track record of fundraising and income generation and will work directly with GHR’s trustees and lead GHR’s management team to devise and implement a new Strategic Plan.
This is a permanent contract after a suitable probationary period.
Salary: Up to £40,000 p.a. + plus matched pension contribution
Full-time – 35 hours per week (with the requirement for occasional evening work)
