Principal Solicitor – Housing

Full Time (but will consider P/T 3 days a week)

Up to £37, 330 (incl ILW) depending on experience
The post attracts 30 days annual leave a year plus bank holidays.

We are seeking an experienced housing solicitor with at least 3 years PQE and with experience of supervising and managing casework under an LAA contract in Housing and Community Care.

The role requires the supervision and professional development of qualified and non-qualified legal advisors in the Housing and Community Care team. The Solicitor will report to the Director and will play an active role in the leadership and future strategy of the Centre.

Housing Solicitor/Caseworker

Salary: Depending on Experience
Working hours: 35 per week

We have a 36 year history of providing an excellent service to the local community. 
We have Housing and Immigration/Asylum contracts with the LAA and grant funding to cover out of scope work.

We require a solicitor/caseworker for our Housing team. Some experience of Housing law/ Social Welfare law is advantageous.

The successful candidate will conduct the housing and debt matter starts we have been allocated, be proactive in commencing and conducting certificated cases for clients and will participate in the court duty scheme, again looking to maximise certificated work from those cases.
